Celandine tea has a bitter taste with a characteristic herbal aroma. It is recommendedto consume in the first half of the day. It is not a medicinal product but serves as a adjunct to the main treatment.
Preparation: Pour 250-350 ml of hot water (90–95°C) over ½ teaspoon of freeze-dried Celandine. Cover, steep for 10–20 minutes, then strain. Optionally, add honey to improve taste.
Recommended use: 1/3–1/2 cup 1–2 times per day after meals for two weeks. Take breaks between courses. Before use, consult a specialist if you have any health concerns.
Important: Freeze-dried products retain a high concentration of nutrients. During freeze-drying, 5 volumes of raw product yield 1 volume of finished product. The properties and qualities of the product are preserved — 10 g of freeze-dried Celandine contain the same amount of nutrients and vitamins as 50 g of raw one, which must be taken into account when dosing. Celandine is a toxic plant and therefore requires strict adherence to the rules of use. Self-medication is unacceptable. Stop use if side effects occur. Keep out of reach of children. Side effects: nausea, vomiting, allergic reactions.
* Contraindications: during pregnancy and lactation, epilepsy, severe neurological and mental disorders (psychoses, anxiety, insomnia), bronchial asthma, stenocardia, or individual intolerance. Consult a doctor before using Celandine for therapeutic purposes.
* Use with caution: in case of hypersensitivity to Celandine, individual intolerance or allergy, kidney or liver diseases. Herbal teas for children under 12 years should be given carefully and only after consultation with a pediatrician.
Contains: alkaloids (chelidonic acid, berberine, protopine, sanguinarine) vitamins A and C; microelements as potassium, iron, copper, zinc, boron; organic acids; phytoncides, saponins, essential oils, flavonoids and tannins.
Celandine has long been valued in traditional medicine. They make water decoctions or alcohol tinctures, which are used as an antiseptic and wound-healing agent — applied externally for the auxiliary treatment of skin conditions (warts, eczema, papillomas) and taken internally in diluted form and in small doses for gastrointestinal disorders (gastritis, pancreatitis, constipation).

Freeze-drying (lyophilization) is performed at very low temperatures in a vacuum, where the water is removed.
