Benefits of Rosehip tea:
- natural source of vitamin C and antioxidants
- supports immunity — effective for the prevention and support of colds, acute respiratory infections, and flu
- helps with vitamin deficiency and anemia
- strengthens blood vessels — may help reduce blood pressure and “bad” cholesterol levels, lowering the risk of stroke and heart attack
- has a mild anti-inflammatory effect
- promotes the elimination of excess fluid and toxins, has a choleretic effect
- improves metabolism and digestion, supports liver and kidney function, helps with intestinal disorders
Rosehip tea is known for its beneficial properties. Each cup contains a concentrate of natural components. Rosehips are one of the richest natural sources of vitamins and antioxidants. A rosehip drink is a powerful vitamin complex and record-holder for vitamin C content (several times higher than in citrus fruits). The beverage has a pleasant tangy taste and is especially beneficial during cold season.
Preparation: 250-300 ml of water per 1 level teaspoon of freeze-dried Rosehips (better to grind). To preserve the maximum amount of vitamin C, the fruits should not be boiled. Instead, pour hot water (90–95°C) over them in a thermos and let steep for 1–2 hours, then strain. Optionally, add honey and/or lemon.
Recommended use: 1–2 times per day.
Important: Freeze-dried products retain a high concentration of nutrients. During freeze-drying, 5 volumes of raw product yield 1 volume of finished product. The properties and qualities of the product are preserved — 20 g of freeze-dried Rosehips contain the same amount of nutrients and vitamins as 100 g of raw ones, which must be taken into account when dosing. Not a medicine. Herbal tea is not a substitute for treatment but serves as gentle natural support.
* Use with caution: during pregnancy and lactation (consult a doctor), in case of individual intolerance or allergy. Not recommended during exacerbations of gastritis with high acidity, stomach or duodenal ulcers, or serious blood clotting disorders (consult a doctor). Herbal teas for children under 12 years should be given carefully and only after consultation with a pediatrician.
Contains: B-group vitamins, C, A (beta-carotene), E, K, folic acid (B9); microelements as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, manganese, copper, zinc; flavonoids, carotenoids, polyphenols, and pectins.
Rosehip has been valued since ancient times. Freeze-dried Rosehips retain up to 98% of vitamins and micronutrients. Freeze-drying (lyophilization) is performed at very low temperatures in a vacuum, where the water is removed. In this process, the structure, aroma, and taste of the product are preserved better compared to conventional drying. Freeze-dried products have a long shelf life and are convenient to use all year round.
Rosehip contains:
- Vitamin C (high content) — a powerful antioxidant that reduces the effects of free radicals and supports immunity
- Vitamin K — contributes to proper blood clotting and is essential for bone mineralization
- Vitamin A (beta-carotene) — supports healthy blood vessels and good vision
- B-group vitamins — support the nervous system, metabolism, and blood formation
- Folic acid (B9) — essential for DNA synthesis and hematopoiesis (red blood cell formation), and is important for the development of the fetus’s connective tissues
- Vitamin E — protects blood vessels and acts as an antioxidant
- Magnesium — important for the nervous and muscular systems and blood formation
- Potassium — regulates water–salt balance and supports cardiovascular function
- Calcium, phosphorus — essential for bones and teeth
- Zinc — necessary for immune function, protein and DNA synthesis, and the health of skin, hair, and the reproductive system
- Iron — necessary for hemoglobin synthesis and oxygen transport
- Manganese — involved in antioxidant defense and amino acid metabolism
- Copper — important for red blood cell formation and bone health
- Flavonoids and pectins — natural antioxidants with detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties.
