Freeze-drying, also known as lyophilization, is a process of low temperature dehydration — when products are frozen until all moisture is removed under vacuum conditions. As a result, we obtain a product that preserves not only beneficial substances, micronutrients, and antioxidants, but also 98% of the vitamins contained in berries, fruits, flowers and herbs.
Freeze-dried products retain a high concentration of nutrients. From 5 volumes of raw product we obtain 1 volume of freeze-dried one. Properties and qualities of the product are preserved — 20 g of freeze-dried rosehips contain the same amount of nutrients and vitamins as 100 g of raw ones.
Recommended use: Freeze-dried rosehips can be added to muesli, porridge, cottage cheese, and smoothies. It is an excellent alternative to preservation, allowing you to enjoy fresh fruits on your table all year round. Rosehips can also be brewed as tea.

Freeze-drying (lyophilization) is performed at very low temperatures in a vacuum, where the water is removed. Freeze-dried products have a long shelf life and are convenient to use all year round.
